There is something very reassuring about knowing your home is being looked after while you are away.

Whether you spend a few weeks elsewhere or only visit Cornwall at certain times of the year, I offer thoughtful and discreet care for coastal homes across Newquay and the surrounding North Cornwall area.

Every home is different, so the service is shaped around what matters to you. That might mean regular property visits, watering plants, preparing rooms before your arrival, keeping an eye on the garden or simply making sure everything is safe and exactly as it should be.

My aim is simple: to give you peace of mind and ensure your home always feels cared for.

Returning home should always feel special

There is something lovely about arriving in Cornwall and finding everything already prepared.

Before you return, I can air the house, make beds, arrange flowers, restock essentials and make sure your home feels ready from the moment you walk through the door.

The aim is not perfection. It is simply that quiet feeling of being home.

Regular checks of doors, windows, heating, water and general security, along with airing rooms, watering houseplants and keeping an eye out for anything that may need attention.

Housekeeping

Light housekeeping, tidying, changing bedding, receiving deliveries and ensuring your home remains fresh and welcoming.

Garden and outdoor spaces

Watering containers and borders, sweeping paths and terraces, light pruning and deadheading, checking furniture and carrying out simple seasonal care.

Trusted local support

Meeting tradespeople, providing access for contractors and keeping you updated when work or deliveries are taking place.

*Garden care is intended for light, regular upkeep rather than landscaping or heavy maintenance.

Following a visit, I can send you a short update and photographs so you know everything is safe, secure and being properly cared for.

Should I notice anything that needs attention, I will let you know promptly and, where agreed, liaise with a local contractor on your behalf.

I’m Zoe, the founder and maker behind Lovan Cornwall.

Lovan grew from my love of Cornwall, practical craftsmanship and homes that feel relaxed, welcoming and connected to the coast.

Over time, caring for beautiful homes began to feel like a very natural extension of that work. Whether I’m weaving a basket, preparing a room or checking a garden while someone is away, the approach is much the same.

Thoughtful, personal and quietly dependable.

I currently provide Coastal Home & Garden Care in Newquay, St Mawgan, Mawgan Porth, Watergate Bay, Porth and surrounding areas of the North Cornwall coast.
